Although the standardization and availability of digital business communication and EDI solutions has increased, many still consider it expensive and complicated to get started. But is that really the whole truth? <\/strong><\/p>

As a consequence, companies that have invested in an EDI solution do not reach all trading partners and thus do not get the maximum benefit from their investment.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

An all too common consequence is to get stuck in an administrative roundabout where a lot of time still needs to be spent on informing distributed modes of communication while there is uncertainty as to whether the number of potential errors is at an acceptable level. If the trading partners do not have their own EDI solutions, it is often not possible to establish a standardized EDI set, which would have been a significant advantage for both trading partners. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To reach out to trading partners who have not introduced digital business communication, Viaduct offers a standardized management through web EDI<\/a>. We call the solution a supplier portal<\/a> or customer portal depending on which trading partners you want to communicate with. The principle is based on a flexible and structured solution that is adapted to the technical capabilities of each trading party to exchange digital business messages. I.e. if the supplier or customer already has an established EDI solution, this can be used in the first instance. <\/p>

But if you lack the ability to communicate with standardized classic EDI, we offer instead an easy-to-use web EDI that is managed in a browser. In this way, you capture the less technically prepared suppliers and customers and give them the opportunity to provide you with digital business communication in the way you want it. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Standardized formats and communication methods for business messages ensure that all information automatically ends up in your business system according to set formats and standards. Viaduct becomes your external EDI department and helps to establish and operate the solution. \n
