SFTI (Single Face To Industry)
SFTI is a collaborative effort led by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), the Swedish National Financial Management Authority (ESV), and the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency. The aim is to promote the conditions for electronic commerce and create more cost-effective management of procurement and invoicing processes. The focus is on open standards for electronic business communication under the concept of SFTI (Single Face To Industry).
EDI and electronic messages.
The SFTI standard is fundamentally built on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), which means electronic messages in a structured form. SFTI also includes messages in XML format. Since May 7, 2018, SFTI recommends using the “Peppol BIS Billing 3” invoice. This invoice is based on the European Peppol standard for e-invoicing. According to a proposed law, this standard will become mandatory for public procurement in the future. Previously, standards such as Svefaktura and Sveorder were used.
