Viaduct AB (“we”, “us” or “our”) intends with this policy to describe how we collect personal data and to transparently clarify for our customers and any authorities about the collection of personal data that takes place at the company. We collect data and personal information with the intention of simplifying communication with our customers and to support future dialogues with them. Viaduct AB will retain personal data for contact purposes only for the necessary time spans that the data is needed and will securely delete all information that we consider outdated or unnecessary for us or our contact with our past, existing, and future customers.
What is personal data?
Personal data is any kind of information that can directly or indirectly be attributed to a living individual. This includes, for example, names, personal identification numbers, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers, as well as IP numbers if they can be traced to an individual.
Data Controller
Viaduct AB takes full responsibility for the collections we make of personal data on behalf of the company. The overall responsibility always lies with Viaduct AB, except for the collections that occur with our customers where Viaduct AB only acts as a cloud service or provides platforms and services for our customers’ products (e.g., websites, intranets, webshops, and communication platforms).
The data collected
Viaduct AB intends to collect only data relevant to our operations and anything our customers consider relevant for their communication and services with us. The data we consider relevant and necessary in our daily operations are: names, job titles, phone numbers, and email addresses. All other information is not relevant and will not be collected. In our systems, references to IP addresses may occur, but these are solely for business purposes and will not be part of the data collection we conduct, as they are irrelevant to our contact with our customers.
Sharing data or information
Viaduct does not share the collected information with any third party, except where authorities have the legal right to request the information. We maintain a strict security policy to ensure that the collected information is not lost.
Legal requirements.
Viaduct AB processes and stores personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and may retain the data to meet the required standards.
Retention periods
We store the data as long as we have agreements with the customers and in cases where we are in contact with companies that are to become customers. When contracts are terminated, all data referring to individuals at those companies, as well as all references to our contacts at those companies, are deleted.
