Viaduct has been entrusted to deliver Ahlsell’s WebEDI portal. The portal helps Ahlsell’s suppliers communicate electronically and automatically with orders and order responses, saving a lot of time and simplifying administration.
Ahlsell is the leading distributor in the Nordics of installation products, tools, and supplies for, among others, installers, construction companies, property managers, and the public sector. The unique customer offering includes over one million individual products and solutions. The new portal will streamline the procurement of products by eliminating several manual steps in the order process and increase customer value as delivery information will be significantly improved.
To quickly and smoothly connect suppliers, a tool is often needed to store all information, including basic data, technical information, and emails. It is also important that the tool supports the workflow for contact work with all parties. Viaduct supports Ahlsell in this process by informing and collecting information using the Edionet™ Implementation tool. The purpose of this effort is to ensure that suppliers join the WebEDI portal quickly and efficiently so that the new working method can begin as early as possible. Ahlsell chose Viaduct as a supplier due to their extensive experience with EDI, a smooth WebEDI portal, and good references.
“We are very pleased with our collaboration with Ahlsell and look forward with excitement to the improvements this digitalization journey will bring. With customers like Scania, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and the Norwegian government (DFØ), we have extensive experience and the right tools to assist a major player like Ahlsell in the best possible way.”
– Ann Nyström, CEO, Viaduct AB.
“Viaduct knows EDI, and this has facilitated the implementation of the WebEDI portal. Everything from mapping to contact work with our suppliers has been handled in the best possible way. I look forward to the continuation with confidence.”
