Being a supplier to the automotive industry places high demands on structure, data quality, and delivery precision. Fogmaker already had an established EDI solution, but in connection with the ERP transition, several challenges became evident. The existing EDI flows needed to be adapted to the new business system, while still ensuring compliance with the high requirements for structured and accurate data set by customers in the automotive industry. In addition, there were manual steps in the forecast, order, and invoicing processes, a risk of errors during the transition between systems, and a need for a solution that could be deployed quickly without disrupting operations. The ERP transition also created an opportunity to secure future requirements and improve overall ways of working.
