When Fogmaker International AB faced a transition to Monitor ERP system, a critical decision point emerged: to ensure that their existing EDI flows would not only continue functioning, but also be improved and scaled to meet future needs.

Challenges
Fogmaker already had an established EDI solution, but in connection with the ERP transition, several challenges became evident. The existing EDI flows needed to be adapted to the new business system, while still ensuring compliance with the high requirements for structured and accurate data set by customers in the automotive industry. In addition, there were manual steps in the forecast, order, and invoicing processes, a risk of errors during the transition between systems, and a need for a solution that could be deployed quickly without disrupting operations. Viaduct implemented a modern and integrated EDI solution, closely connected to Monitor ERP, which includes:
